The new GTA 5 Upgrade for the next-generation version "GTA 5: Enhanced edition" on PC is now officially available, and it is available to play from the Rockstar Games Launcher, Steam or Epic Games.
The Upgrade brings graphical, performance improvements, and gameplay features from the next-gen consoles, such as Ray Tracing, SSD support. The GTA Online update also adds new content, including new missions, vehicles.

If you own GTA 5 on Steam, Epic Games Store, or Rockstar Launcher, can upgrade to this new version for free, and also keep your Story Mode and Online progress, while enjoying more features that we will list below:
- Ray tracing, which is available only on PC, enjoy ambient shading and global illumination, as well as ray-traced shadows and reflections.
- AMD FSR1 and FSR3 and NVIDIA DLSS 3 technologies for improved performance and image quality.
- Faster loading times using SSD drives and DirectStorage technology on supported devices.
- Improved support for higher resolutions, wider aspect ratios, and higher frame rates.
- DualSense Support for controller with adaptive triggers.

- The "Oscar Guzman Flies Again" missions, where you team up with the infamous smuggler Oscar Guzman to take down the private mercenary company Eberhard Munitions.
- Four new arms smuggling missions, involving stealing shipments from Oscar's competitors and delivering them to clients.
- The historic "McKenzie Field Hangar" property, which comes complete with:
- An unlockable Duster and Western Duster 300-H.
- 15 additional aircraft storage slots for smuggler hangar owners.
- The ability to request a personal aircraft.
- New "Career Progress" rewards on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and now PC with today's free update.
- New vehicles: Invetero Coquette D5, Titan 250 D, Buckingham DH-7 Iron Mule, and Western Duster 300-H.
